Bembridge Coast Hotel - Signature Rooms a special open plan room with many added little touches that will make your break here that little bit more memorable.
We took advantage of Warner's last minute deals and enjoyed a 4 night stay in a Signature Room with a patio at Bembridge. The room was what we had become used to at Warners, good sized bed in a room with plenty of space and storage. the bathroom was warm once we turned on the heated towel rail and the room radiator kept things comfortable. The food was excellent with a good choice for all meals. We aren't really into entertainment but the Elvis act was impressive.
We booked this about a month ago, finding that prices to go elsewhere were extortionate for time of year. We appreciated the reduced rate for the ferry crossing, as part of the booking. The welcome was warm, we were given our keys and our room was lovely. It was above the kitchens in Ledge House, but the sea view made up for it. We opted for a suite, and had loads of space to chill in between touring the island, doing activities and going for meals.
Food was really nice. Wojciek, our server, remembered each day what we liked to go with our breakfast or evening meal. A good variety, with meat eaters and vegetarians catered for.
Entertainment was good. Alicia is a great singer, lovely voice. The other entertainment team members ensured that you were either dancing, singing or laughing. The last night had a great comedian and acrobat...great stuff.
There was only one bar open, which got busy at times. There was a good variety of drinks available.
They also offered a card to put items on, and you paid it off at the end of your stay, a great idea.
Activities were aplenty. A lot to choose from...
Housekeeping did a lovely job keeping the rooms and communal areas spotless. Plenty of tea, coffee, and complementary biscuits, replenished daily.d
Suggest going to the Bembridge RNLI station, you pass it on the way in. It's free and you can look around. They do occasional launches, too.
Overall a great few days away.
We enjoyed our 4 night break at Bembridge. Although we did not take part in the daily activities there was plenty going on. Food was good and plentiful. The hotel is situated by the Solent so there are boats to watch at times. We had a comfy signature room and enjoyed the included goodies & wine, particularly the fresh milk in the fridge. The only thing missing in the room was hooks to hang outdoor clothes. We asked for a bath mat to avoid slips in the bath. As their guests are nearly all over 60 you'd think that bath mats would be standard.
During our stay we visited the lifeboat station when there was an excellent talk for Warners guests. This was during a 4.5 mile walk and we visited the donkeys at Wroxall for the donkey experience. We also visited Amazon World. Nowhere is very far on the island.
The advantage of Bembridge is that the rooms are mostly in the hotel. We were shown our table in the dining room and the theatre. We were part of a group of 28.
The singers in the bar each evening were good.
